Twitter doesn't have a tool for saving videos, so you might think that you're out of luck, but it's actually easy to download on mobile or desktop.

Downloading Twitter videos has been a pain, but you can now do it natively as a premium subscriber. If you're a free user, you still need to rely on third-party software.
On the desktop, use a website like Twitter Video Downloader to download videos from Twitter.
On mobile - whether iOS or Android - you'll need to download an app to help you save videos from the platform.
